The International Standard provides a list of test pages in the standard format of files. The pages serve to measure the performance of the cartridge with color toner and ink. The test suite isn't intended to print photos. It is meant to show a selection of the typical pages for consumers. The pages can be printed according to the ISO/IEC 19798 or ISO/IEC24711.
ISO (the International Organization for Standardization) and IEC (the International Electrotechnical Commission) are the two specialized systems to standardize the world. National organizations that are members of ISO or IEC are involved in the creation of International Standards through technical committees established by the respective organization to address specific areas of technical activities. IEC and ISO technical committees work together in areas of mutual interest. Additional international organizations, including non-governmental and governmentalorganizations, are also part of the work. ISO/IEC JTC 1 has been established as a technical committee that is jointly responsible for the field of information technology. International Standards will be developed in accordance with the ISO/IEC Directives.
